I'm back.

After a lot of travel time, I am back.

Moving away.

I'm headed back soon.  I'll miss it here, but I will be happy to return.  (Sometimes, am·bi·gu·i·ty lets you say a number of statements in a concise way.)

A nice backpack.

I rarely want to endorse any particular product, but I have to say that I am enjoying my Da Kine "Campus" Backpack.  I've had it a month and bought it at a fairly low price ($29.99).  It's got a cooler for putting cold bottled water in, which is really nice for the desert that I will eventually be returning to.  It's got a padded place for a laptop.  You can put a cell phone and an audio player in their respective compartments, too.  (Of course it has the usual pen holders, too.)

The cooler was my selling point.

I went to the Computer History Museum yesterday.

Other People.

I am in Northern California (the "Bay Area") for the summer (perhaps the one or two people who subscribe to the feed of this blog or check it periodically don't know this fact). I have met several people.  Things are going well.  I'm going to places that I have wanted to go and enjoying myself.
